Choice of: 904L solid stainless steel / 38mm or 40mm, 11.9mm thick.
Crafted with a polished/brushed finish contrast worthy of Japanese design codes.
- Sides fully mirror-polished, achieved through multi-layer progressive polishing.
- Lugs linearly brushed, with a long, taut, and regular brushing that follows the case geometry.
- Sharp transitions between polished and brushed areas, without burrs: this is where the quality of the work is evident, with clean bevels and an impeccable finish.
This interplay of surfaces creates a watch that changes its expression depending on the light, exactly like the Japanese Zaratsu codes, but in a more modern interpretation.
Strap:
904L steel bracelet – three-link, polished/brushed alternation
The bracelet echoes the spirit of the case with a solid yet refined construction.
- Brushed top surfaces, for a more technical aesthetic
- Mirror-polished chamfers on the central links
- Slightly curved side links to follow the natural curve of the wrist
- Butterfly clasp with watchmaker micro-adjustment.
- Clean snap, no play
Crystal: Sapphire with light clear anti-reflective treatment and slight chamfer.
Hands: Dauphine without Lume, matted and satined with flat brushing.
Dial:
The Shibusa collection dial stands out with its textured surface, directly inspired by natural Japanese materials.
Each dial features an irregular pattern reminiscent of clouds, polished stone, or misty landscapes, using a micro-engraving process that creates controlled relief variations. This work achieves light refraction, giving the dial a depth rarely seen in this price range.
The applied indexes are machined with multiple facets and tight tolerances to maximize light reflection.
Each index receives:
- a mirror polish on the upper edges,
- a radial or vertical brushing on some side facets,
- a perfectly flat base to ensure millimeter-precise positioning.
Case back: Ultra-flat slim and openworked sapphire with anti-reflective treatment to admire the magnificent rotor of the decorated movement.
Crown: Quadruple waterproof seal - Tube, threading, and inside the crown.
Movement: SEIKO NH35A Automatic with DATE complication, manual winding and hacking seconds. Authentic JAPAN origin – Relubrication and N.A TIMEKEEPING standard calibration -4/+5 Seconds per Day against the 30 to 90 seconds of daily deviation out of the factory. Movement decoration option: Perlage/Côtes de Genève decoration - hand-blued screws.
Water resistance: 200m certified with printed test results.
